help i don't get the yuri hype THAT much
i prefer yaoi 💔
anyways here's my attempt at making yuri, and some tips ig
(also i fw the whole 🍀🎀 and 🎀🍓, i'm proud to be a girlkisser :3)
-- tips :
make it realistic, obviously most of the time yuri is.. well FICTIONAL.
don't put abbrevations, like rn, or pmo. it kinda makes it cringe, but at the end of
the day it's YOUR story.
yuri and gl are different things. yuri is more s3xual, and shows more.. freaky.. things
and it's mainly written by japanese women / just women, meant FOR women !!
gl is just girls love, so it doesn't need to be exactly freaky!!!!!!
learn from official yuri's / writers on ao3!! take examples and try to incorporate them in
your story! i <3 ao3 bro it's SOOO much better than wattpad..

i stumbled into the school, glancing around at the people. here at art school. i knew i wasn't
going to get judged. everyone here... is so accepting! so many queer people.. open and proud!
artists with different styles accepting everyone! it's so shocking.. and yet so exciler-
"shit!" i hear someone yell. i snapped out of my day dreaming, and realized i
fell onto someone. she was wearing purple and black layers, with thick eyeliner
and bright piercings. am i in heaven..? no.. get back to reality!!
I got off the poor person i stumbled onto, and quickly offered her a hand.
"gosh! i'm so sorry! um, my name's charlotte! what's yours?"
I said cheerfully, while helping her get up.
She gave me a sideways glance before answering.
"my name's lucille. ya new here?"
I quickly nodded, smiling brightly. "yeah! i am, whatcha studying?!"
i said that a bit too loudly.. "animation. it's fun, what about you?"
she seemed so cool and collected. her pale face, and her dark purplish eyes
boring into mine. "illustration! i just adore art!!" --
she laughed softly, "well of course you do. if you didn't, you wouldn't be here."
after a bit of chitchatting, we realized we were dorm mates!

so here are some more tips on writing both yuri and yaoi. --
(and some info about it)
sterotypical doomed yaoi is just.. "i wish you were a girl." well, most of times.
while yuri has the most DEPRESSING, toe curling, eye gouging, storylines.
some GREAT / good yuri examples : madoka + houmra, toga + ochako, hana + hachi (BEST FUCKING SHIP, NANA WILL MAKE U CRY.)
akane + kana, etc.
i'm newer to writing yuri, but i have seen enough anime to understand it.

like yuri, yaoi also tends to be more s3xual and is MAJORLY advertised for a female audience!
it is also very freaky! :P
