"disabilities aren't aesthetic" Yes, but you don't need to say this under the posts of disabled people showing off cute mobility aids, decorated med organisers, a cute bed set up, the art piece that represents their disabilities, etc. Whether theyre your fellow disabled folk or especially so if you're able-bodied/neurotypical, allow disabled people freedom of expression and the little joys they can. People cope with their disabilites in diverse ways, and sometimes that means you will see a disabled person romanticizing their life, or making their aids aesthetic. Someone existing and expressing themselves, making their lives more comfortable and enjoyable, should not be seen as ”glorifying” anything. APPENDICITIS Stomach pain and discomfort. Almost like a tightness. Very sensitive if you push on it. Bit of nausea. The area will feel hard from swelling. abs felt really sore area of the soreness shrunk and localized like an inflatable balloon in abdomen Sudden pain that starts near your belly button then moves down and to the right Pain that gets worse over a couple of hours Pain that intensifies if you inhale deeply, cough, sneeze, or make any other sudden movements Pain that doesn’t feel like anything you’ve ever experienced before Nausea Vomiting Constipation Diarrhea The sensation that pooping will make you feel better A low-grade fever that may become more severe as the pain grows A bloated abdomen Feeling unable to pass gas made nauseous when on your back You start to feel very mild “flu-like” symptoms 24-48 hours before you have any abdominal pain. Then you start to get upper abdominal pain above your belly button like if you are wearing high waisted pants that are too tight. It is such an uncomfortable feeling and you just want to lay down and sleep it off. tested at home by 1 - pressing down on my lower right abdomen and if it relived the pain while pushing but increases pain when releasing you fingers then its appendicitis. 2- lay on your back and bend you right leg and bring your knee to your chest if that’s painful but then roll your knee away from yourself with your leg still bend and that relieves the pain then it’s your appendix If its been hurting since last night and today your pain is only mild with certain movements it’s not your appendix. You would hurt strongly for about 4-5 hrs straight then the next 4 plus would be unbearable. Like unable to stand up or walk type pain + vomiting.

Seizure Phases Seizures take on many different forms and have a beginning (prodrome and aura), middle (ictal) and end (post-ictal) stage. These phases are described below. Beginning phase Prodrome stage During the prodromal stage some people can tell when a seizure is on its way. Not all people experience this stage. Some common signs can include: Mood changes Anxiety Feeling lightheaded Difficulty sleeping Difficulty staying focused Behaviour changes. Aura Auras are generally considered an early part of the seizure. Symptoms of an aura may include: Déjà vu (a sense that something has happened before when in fact it hasn’t) Jamais vu (a feeling that you’re seeing something you know well for the first time) Odd smells, sounds or tastes Dizziness Vision difficulties Numbness or ‘pins and needles’ in parts of the body Nausea Headache Panic Feelings of intense fear Sometimes a person may have an aura which doesn’t progress to become a more severe or prolonged seizure. Some people don’t experience an aura at all, and their seizure has no early warning signs. Middle (ictal) phase The middle (ictal) stage of a seizure is called the ictal phase. It’s the time from the first symptom to the end of the seizure activity. It is during this time that intense electrical activity is occurring in the brain. Some common signs of this phase include: Loss of awareness Memory lapse Feeling confused Difficulty hearing Odd smells, sounds or tastes Difficulty speaking or saying strange words Twitching Loss of muscle control Repeated movements (such as lip smacking or chewing) Body convulsions Racing heart Trouble breathing Ending (post-ictal) phase The final post-ictal stage occurs after the active (ictal) part of the seizure. This is the recovery stage and during this phase any physical after effects of the seizure are felt. The type of seizure and the part of the brain involved will determine how long it takes for a person to return to their usual self. Although the pageant essay is not imperative for some systems, like Miss Earth USA or Miss USA, it is imperative for systems such as Miss America and Miss Teen, creating an essay is a great exercise for all contestants to ensure that they know the direction that they want to go in for their platform.
