FERAL ENTITY MURDERERS;
Part 2;
I turned around to look at N, trembling a bit but speechless about what he just went through.
โYou both okay?โ I ask, a bit worried.
Silence. Finally, ENA responds.
โYes, I am at this moment. Please excuse the breakdown I have just experienced there.โ She says, finally returning to her โhappyโ side. โAndโฆโ
Nโs eyes widen, and he apologizes for not responding.
โOh! Sorryโฆ but Iโm fine, I guessโฆโ He replies, looking a bit traumatized.
โOkay,โ I say, confirming both responses, but still concerned for both N and ENA. โNow, ENA, it says here that you need to return to someone namedโฆ Moony, correct?โ I pull out my phone and show the notes given for when fighting off ENAโs strange entity.
โYes, Moony indeed is my friend, and I will return to her.โ ENA answers.
โGood. Now, be careful next time, and donโt create a mess like this. Okay?โ I finally explain, as ENA starts to walk away.
โOf course. May our paths cross once again.โ She blankly responds, starting to walk out.
I heavily sigh and turn toward N, picking up my chainsaw.
โYou areโฆ Serial Designation N, from exoplanet Copper-9, right?โ I ask, studying his tag on his arm that showed some of his info.
โWhy, yes I am!โ N replies, smiling. โAnd you areโฆ?โ
โAugust.โ I start to untie my ponytail as I start to explain. โI have wellโฆ a job, where I hunt down entities and monsters like what youโve just seen. Iโm 16 years old, and Iโve been working in this job for 2 years now, after escaping from my toxic family. For a Disassembly Drone like you, well, you could probably love this job a lot!โ
N processes what I have just said and replies.
โAugust. Well, nice to meet you! I probably would like that job of yours, but dealing with monsters that big would be kind of too much for meโฆโ He says sheepishly. โBut still though, your job seems interesting. What else do you do other than hunt entities down though?โ
A wild grin comes onto my face as an idea sparks in my head. I brush my brown, knitted fingerless gloves off as something near my hands opens up a small portal. N gets jumpscared for a second, thinking I have the Absolute Solver, but then sighs in relief when he sees what is coming from my hands isnโt the Solver symbols.
โWalk in,โ I say, beaming strongly. โYou are going to love this place here!โ
N and I walk through the portal to where we were going, and he did not know how much he would adore this place.
