The Mafia
Hearing someone weeping in Jade, her sister's, room, Trisha quietly and
silently, like her father taught them, went in. Jade was actually crying about
Jason, her boyfriend. Trisha scowled, "Him, again, Jade? I swear you gotta
break up with him. He won't stop breaking your heart and then trying to repair
it again." Then she continued, "One of these days, if he does this again,
I swear I'm going to use all of the methods Dad taught us on him," Jade
sniffled, "Well, I guess you won't have to do that," Trisha, who was previously
casually leaning on the wall, stood up straight and prompted, "What
do you mean by that?" Jade said, "What I mean is that Jason broke up with
me so we're not together anymore!" Trisha was shocked, Jade's boyfriends
NEVER and she means NEVER EVER broke with Jade before. Only Trisha
had to convince Jade to break up with them because they weren't deserving
enough for her. "I'm gonna k!ll him," Trisha was about to walk off but Jade
pulled her, "Please. You know it's bad enough that some people are making
rumors that we're part of the Mafia. Doing that will only just prove their
assumptions." Trisha scoffed, "So what? It's not a rumor anyways, it's true,"
Jade said, "How about this? I need some time alone and then I'll think about
it, and maybe you can make a decision?" Trisha said, "Jade, do you know
why I think you're adopted?" Jade shook her head, "-because you have a
soft spot. You're so overly nice to people. We're the Mafia, we gotta be strong
and we DEFINITELY will do something when someone breaks our heart."
Jade laughed lightly, "Haha, I'd rather not listen to your advice right now."
All her life, Trisha had been cold-hearted to everyone and tough. But to
Jade, she had a soft spot for her. Trisha softly said, "Hey, I know it's hard
to recover from a break-up. When I had to break up with boys, unlike you,
I didn't have a sister to help get revenge," Jade looked at her, "You had Dad,
and you know how strict and tough Dad is." Trisha said, "Whatt, that's a dad
thing! All dads are overprotective of their daughters when stuff like
that happens." Jade smiled, "I'll think about it, and if I agree, I'm doing it
myself." Trisha exclaimed, "WHOOP WHOOP! That's what I'm talking about!
Top-notch daughter of the Mafia!"
