As the two of them approached Two's house, X
couldn't help but feel a twinge of nervousness.
They had never interacted with Two outside of
the Battle for Dream Island games before, and they
weren't quite sure what to expect. Four noticed X's
apprehension and gave their hand a
reassuring squeeze. "Don't worry," he said softly,
"Two's a good listener."
The door to Two's house swung open, revealing a cozy,
minimalist space filled with soft light and the faint
scent of chamomile. Two looked up from their book, a
gentle smile spreading across their face. "Ah, Four,
X, I've been expecting you," they greeted warmly.
Four beamed, feeling his heart flutter slightly
at Two's welcoming demeanor. He had always had a
soft spot for Two, finding their calmness and wisdom
to be incredibly comforting. X, on the other hand,
felt a mix of relief and curiosity. Two was nothing
like the competitive, sometimes cold figure they had
encountered in the games.
As they stepped inside, Two gestured to a low-set
table in the center of the room. "Please, take a
seat," they offered, pointing to the cushions arranged
neatly around it. "I've made us some mint tea. It's not
exactly what Four had in mind, but I hope it'll do."
Four's cheeks flushed slightly at Two's gesture. He had
always appreciated the way Two went the extra mile to
make people feel at home. X, however, was still a bit on
that wasn't wrapped up in competition and strategy. But
as they sat down, the warmth of the tea in their hands
began to seep into their palms, and the tension in the
room seemed to dissipate./////bystarrydragon3
