FERAL ENTITY MURDERERS;
Part 2;
I turned around to look at N, trembling a bit but speechless about what he just went through.
“You both okay?” I ask, a bit worried.
Silence. Finally, ENA responds.
“Yes, I am at this moment. Please excuse the breakdown I have just experienced there.” She says, finally returning to her “happy” side. “And…”
N’s eyes widen, and he apologizes for not responding.
“Oh! Sorry… but I’m fine, I guess…” He replies, looking a bit traumatized.
“Okay,” I say, confirming both responses, but still concerned for both N and ENA. “Now, ENA, it says here that you need to return to someone named… Moony, correct?” I pull out my phone and show the notes given for when fighting off ENA’s strange entity.
“Yes, Moony indeed is my friend, and I will return to her.” ENA answers.
“Good. Now, be careful next time, and don’t create a mess like this. Okay?” I finally explain, as ENA starts to walk away.
“Of course. May our paths cross once again.” She blankly responds, starting to walk out.
I heavily sigh and turn toward N, picking up my chainsaw.
“You are… Serial Designation N, from exoplanet Copper-9, right?” I ask, studying his tag on his arm that showed some of his info.
“Why, yes I am!” N replies, smiling. “And you are…?”
“August.” I start to untie my ponytail as I start to explain. “I have well… a job, where I hunt down entities and monsters like what you’ve just seen. I’m 16 years old, and I’ve been working in this job for 2 years now, after escaping from my toxic family. For a Disassembly Drone like you, well, you could probably love this job a lot!”
N processes what I have just said and replies.
“August. Well, nice to meet you! I probably would like that job of yours, but dealing with monsters that big would be kind of too much for me…” He says sheepishly. “But still though, your job seems interesting. What else do you do other than hunt entities down though?”
A wild grin comes onto my face as an idea sparks in my head. I brush my brown, knitted fingerless gloves off as something near my hands opens up a small portal. N gets jumpscared for a second, thinking I have the Absolute Solver, but then sighs in relief when he sees what is coming from my hands isn’t the Solver symbols.
“Walk in,” I say, beaming strongly. “You are going to love this place here!”
N and I walk through the portal to where we were going, and he did not know how much he would adore this place.
