to be frank i dont use the term "anti" or "antiship" to refer to myself or likeminded people in any shape or form but I still include it in the tags because I know a lot of people do. i'll just be honest the reason I ever gave up on ship discourse is because proshippers are essentially just fighting one big strawman that's just "antis deadass just think fiction and reality are the same and fictional characters are real and thats why they judge me so harshly for jacking it to noncon lolisho" and one has to realize it's redundant to even engage in a group whose entire pseudo-intellectual space is built on dogma/shit like this. like i could discuss how it's inherently ableist to use the mentally ill as a scapegoat in the completely false claim that "The only people who can't seperate reality from fiction are the elderly, the young, and the mentally ill" (ironic for a section of the internet filled with a lot of neurodivergent people, but thats pretty much the tip of the iceberg once you start to look at how proshipping is pretty much complicit with bigotry in fandom if it's just "but muh PURE FANDOM SPACE WITHOUT LE HECKIN' ANTIS!! this isn't minstrel fiction or just misogynistic bullshit it's me exercising MUH FRIGGIN FREEDOM OF FICTION!!!") but before i'd even get there i'd be called a fascist puritan so whatever. - ☄ ᶠᶸᶜᵏᵧₒᵤ !𝓷𝓲𝓰𝓰𝓪
