When I was five years old, My family moved really far from home, because of my father’s work
I started hearing things at night
I would wake up a lot in the middle of the night
One night, I looked out the window and saw something run on all fours outside
I got really bad insomnia after a while
I saw the silhouette of something vaguely human-shaped in the corner of my room at night
Eventually, we moved in with my grandma
The hallucinations and insomnia stopped and never visited me again
Not long after, we see the disappearance of a little girl from that area on the news
Many missing people are reported near those woods
I still have nightmares sometimes about that thing I saw when I was five
