On a nice boring day while sitting on my bed scrolling through tiktok. My life was absolutely boring and meaningless
Until I saw this one video that changed my whole life. A video of Hu Tao swinging a deceased Xiao as her ult (😭) At the bottom, there was a search button that said “Hu Tao”.
There it was. The moment I clicked it and my whole life was changed. The moment where I spent 15+ hours crying to make storage for Genshin. Anddddddd cried another 15 hours after I found out all the videos on Hu Tao were from past events.
Anywayyyy, continuing on, ever since then i’ve had people call me absolutely crazy about a fictional character but I didn’t care.
She reminds me of me. Like seriously I kin her so much. I really wish I could have at least ONE chat with her! She’s the absolute best. So misunderstood and doesn’t deserve the hate that she gets
Her gameplay is extremely easy for me to use and Iove her voicelines too. I memorized every single voiceline of hers. I even cosplayed as Hu Tao since I have long brown hair it was easy for me. I make sure to read Hu Tao’s lore every single night before I sleep. I draw her almost every day
I will literally defend Hu Tao from anyone who hates her, it’s an instinct I was born with I literally just argue with anyone even though i’m wrong if they say they hate something I love. Also please someone help me defend precious Hu Tao from creeps out there. I read a paragraph of someone obessed with Hu Tao in an… uhm.. QUESTIONABLE WAY- so I WILL PROTECT PRECIOUS TAO FROM THOSE TYPES OF PEOPLE!
And omg her hat is absolutely beautiful. The story behind it is extremely sad and I wanna give her a hug. She’s gone through so much but she is so misunderstood and hated by many people. I’m talking about gamewise and communitywise.
Her eyes are sooo pretty! Honestly when a human cosplays it, it looks pretty creepy but that’s because they’re not the REAL Hu Tao. Her eyes are such a pretty vibrant color and they have little flower petals in them to represent her plum blossom outfit :D
I love her voice actors so much! In every language the voice actors always seem to do an amazing job at representing her enthusiasm. My personal favorite is either Rie or Brianna as they make Hu Tao sound so cheerful!
I find Hu Tao would be so fun to hang out with. She would be that one friend you can always rely on whenever you need cheering up or need someone to be there for you. She’s definitely a type who loves to go shopping or just read a book with you or even spend hours doing nothing but talking and. screaming about random stuff. Maybe even help me prank some people!
