poetry about a boy i love.
You’re the kind of boy who drives me mad,
With every little thing, you make me sad.
Your words are careless, your actions loud,
You stand in the crowd, never too proud.
You’ve got brown hair and eyes so dark,
A tan skin tone, but no real spark.
Your jokes are dumb, your timing worse,
Yet somehow, you’ve become my curse.
I hate the way you never see,
The mess you make inside of me.
How you don’t care, and never try,
But still, I can't help but ask why?
I hate your silence, the way you pretend,
Like we’re strangers, like we’re just friends.
You’re miles away, but still so near,
A constant ache I can’t clear.
But the thing I hate the most, by far,
Is that I love you just as you are.
I hate that I can’t shake this feeling,
This love that feels so unappealing.
We talk online, but never face to face,
We share nothing more than empty space.
Yet, no matter what, come rain or shine,
I’ll love you, though I know you’re not mine.
I’ll love you through the silence, the pain,
Through everything that drives me insane.
I’ll love you, even when I don’t understand,
For I’ll love you forever—just as I am.
