I'm just gonna outright say it. "Endogenic systems" aren't real. DID by nature can only develop in children at ages around 5-9 years old, NOT when you're 16 years old... Endogenic systems are misguided, they either developed DID when they were a young child, or (More likely) they don't have DID at all. DID is not very well researched in the first place, and the symptoms overlap with SO MANY other disorders. Even if you had a degree in psychology, you could NOT self diagnose yourself with DID. You would NEED a highly trained professional to be able to tell if you have DID because they would offer an unbiased, educated perspective. Also, how the hell do people claim to get DID without trauma?!??!! That's not how it works, your alters develop when faced with severe trauma that causes your personality to split. For example, if a child felt like they needed a big, strong protector figure, they may develop a dragon alter or something. The reason people even get DID at this young of an age but not later in life is because children are still developing and are more vulnerable to fragmentation.
