adults use this site too! adults need their own spaces.
minors need spaces made for them, they don't need to take over
the spaces made for adults.
social media was made for adults, not minors.
discord is not for people under 17
instagram is not for people under 17
tiktok is not for people under 17

minors ruined this website wanting to make it "safer for them"
instead of respecting "maybe this post wasn't for me as a minor
and the internet wasn't made for me as a minor"
us adults are very worried for minors today.
minors are growing up with a more hostile internet than we did!

adults pretend to be minors to catch other adults online,
this makes the internet even more unsafe for minors
minors need to accept that the internet is adult.
it's not a good baby sitter, it won't censor bad words for you.
and that is super scary i know,
but don't get mad at adults for using the internet as adults
don't get mad at your peers who use the internet for themselves
instead be responsible for yourself!!
because if your parents, or social media platforms won't protect you
make spaces for yourself (not take them away)
and learn for yourself how to protect yourself, internet basics
(like not screaming IM A MINOR!!! ADD ME!! in any online space)
adults can only do so much to protect minors online
we can't control the platforms youre on, we can't
reinforce the age rules they make besides reporting your accounts
(and you just make a new one be honest)
we can't draw a line between us and you when we need to!
all we can do is ignore you guys!!
and hope that you won't draw attention to you
adults were minors online once too but we were safer than you are now
that's why we are all very worried.
the internet has never been safe for minors, it never will be,

don't let this discourage you from building your own websites,
your own games, building your own safe friend circles/groups,
