“Fuck, dude,” Marcus swore, pinching his forehead in what
appeared to be pain yet had a smile on his face. “Dude
who’s blowing up your phone?” Ethan wondered, who sat
beside him at the bar. “Does it matter?” Marcus replied.
Yet he turned on his phone only to put it on silent mode
before taking a sip of his drink. Ethan shrugged before
taking a sip of his own. Ethan was glad he finally got
Marcus to drink with him as he rarely ever did so.
Marcus and Ethan spent a little while longer there, their
sense of time completely erased. Marcus only figured
how late it was once he checked how many notifications he
had. “Oh shit, I gotta get home, Vincent’s gonna kill me,” He
muttered. Ethan, spaced out, came back to the mentioning
of Vincent. “I can get an Uber if you want, I guess I might as
well go home too if you are,” Ethan requested. “Sure,” Marcus
shrugged, slumping in his seat. Ethan grabbed his phone
from his jacket pocket, ordering an Uber for the two of them.
“You got it?” Marcus wondered. Ethan nodded. “We should go
wait outside,” He stated before sliding off his seat. Marcus
followed Ethan to the door as he put his phone back. The two
continued to chatter about rather stupid things until they saw
the car pull up. Ethan and Marcus stumbled into the car.
They still continued their conversation, forgetting about the
concept of time once again until the Uber pulled up in front of
Marcus’s house. Marcus thanked the driver as he left, saying
goodbye to Ethan. Then the car left for Ethan’s place.
Once Marcus reached the front door, he fumbled for his house
keys, eventually finding it and getting it into the keyhole before
stumbling inside the house. The lights in the foyer were off as
Marcus locked the door behind him and put his shoes away.
Marcus wondered where Vincent was as he curiously went over
to the living room, finding the TV on.
“Vincent?” Marcus called, realizing Vincent was on the couch.
“Marcus,” Vincent replied. A smile lit up on Marcus’s face,
wrapping his arms around Vincent’s neck. “why didn’t you
respond to my texts or my calls?” He asked. Marcus’s grin
faltered slightly.
“Oh, that was you?” Marcus wondered.
“Who else would it be?” Vincent answered in a rather sarcastic
tone. A few moments of silence rolled over the two.
“Sorry,” Marcus simply commented in response to Vincent’s
original question. Vincent sighed, unable to be bothered and
simply accepted Marcus’s apology.
“I love you,” Marcus said, embracing Vincent in a hug.
“I love you too,” Vincent huffed, slightly upset at the sudden
switch up as he continued the movie he was watching before.
Marcus crawled into Vincent’s lap, straddling his waist and
burying his face in Vincent’s shoulder. Vincent wrapped his
arms around Marcus, The twowere quiet for a while, only the
intense scenes of the movie filling Marcus’s ears until he craved
attention.
“You’re so pretty..” Marcus complimented. Vincent felt his
cheeks heat up at the compliment. Though he didn’t respond.
Marcus frowned at the lack of response, continuing to
compliment him.
“I think you need to go to bed,” Vincent finally stated. Marcus
frowned. That wasn’t the kind of attention he wanted. “Only if
you go with me,” He replied, looking up to meet his gaze. Vincent
stared at him in a deadpan manner.
“Either you go sleep or you shut up and just watch the movie with
me.” Vincent stated.
“Why not sleep with me?” Marcus whined. Vincent still remained
to appear unbothered. Marcus didn’t want to watch the movie,
instead he wanted all of Vincent’s attention. A stupid idea
popped into his mind. Marcus ground down on Vincent with a grin.
Vincent groaned at the feeling, his eyes widening at the sudden
movement.
