So story time about how my father (43) tried to get my mother (42) deported by voting trump in 2016, so bassically its 2016 im 10 years old and blissfully un aware of the voting, and my parents had seperated in 2015 they were not married but the court decided my dad got 4 days and my mum got 4 days, but after proved unfit my dad ended up getting Saturdays and Sundays while my mum got the rest of the week, i was happy about this because i liked my mum more so i lived life like normal until the election, people started and voting happened at arround november and my mother who i forgot to say is an immigrant fron East Asia so im Wasian bassically, and trump had anti immigrant polices (wont be desclosing wether she's legal or not) and my Father was angry that he got less custody so he hatched a plan, while his vote wont make much of a difference he realised and started a plan. My mother ended up having a conversation, she though he would vote Hillary but he blew up in her face saying real men vote trump and she tried explaining the immigration laws and laws against women but he didnt budge accidently saying "i want you gone" and for the rest of my stay mum tried to act like nothing happened and i saw the worry in her. The next day at a town potluck my father presented a speech about trump and how amazing he is, not my town is very far left, theres about 3 catholic churches and 2 baptist and were SOUTHERN so its bad, everyone agreed with him not knowing how this might affect my mother and he continues going to churches to speak about it trying to get the whole town to agree which worked. So my mother was paniking her family was back in Hong Kong and couldnt support her so she was on her own, people even started talking about it in school. So she cast her vote about a week and a half later for Hillary who as we know lost and my fathers plan worked, it wasnt all thanks to him though. So he came to pick me up a cold saturday and he spoke to my mum telling her his plan worked confessing everything and i left but my mum was prepared and head to court to file for full custody. To sumarize it her front poarch camera recorded everything he said and she ended up winning full custody WITH a public defender, he is somewhere right now but im glad he isnt my father anymore 💙
