Alphaville (music band):
Alphaville, (prev. Forever Young) is a german synth pop band. They formed in Munster, Germany in 1983 by Marian Gold (real n. Hartwig Schierbaum),
Bernhard Lloyd (Real n. Bernhard Gössling) and Frank Mertens (Real n. Frank Sorgatz).
They changed their original band name, Forever Young, not long before they released their first song, Big In Japan, in January 1984.
However, Frank Mertens left the band in 1985 because he didnt like the fame. (whyd he join a band if he didnt like being famous like bro its real life logic)
He was replaced by Ricky Echolette (bassist of alphaville from 1985 to 1992)
Anyways, Alphaville is still active to this day and they recently had a concert in my country (i went to it and it SLAYEDDDDD 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑)
