so um, ive been studying japanese for years n yall sitting here saying that its offensive or.. "racist" to use the symbols w japanese is kinda wild. cus most of them r saying random shit like "thank you." its rlly NOT that deep, i can promise you. also, if japanese ppl r giving u the thumbs up u dont need to be worried abt it. literally just symbols. jus b respectful, its not that hard. it is NOT cultural appropriation or racist to wanna appreciate and involve urself in a culture. as long as ur not sitting here claiming it IS ur culture when its not. only then is it cultural appropriation. i should know, im native. i know ALLL about that since my country was colonized^^ have a good night/day
